Our mission here at the K9 Psychology Center is to educate as many people as possible on how to be a responsible dog owner and to rehabilitate dogs with behavioral issues to hopefully keep as many dogs as possible from being given up to Rescue Shelters or picked up by Animal Control.
We offer the American Kennel Club (AKC), S.T.A.R. Puppy Program classes and the AKC Canine Good Citizen class. Both classes teach dog owners how to be responsible dog owners and teach the dogs what acceptable behavior (manners) is.
We also offer one on one behavioral rehabilitation sessions addressing behavioral issues such as aggression, house training, not coming when called, jumping on people, barking, digging, and separation anxiety.
All proceeds from our behavioral rehabilitation sessions and our products we sell go towards the cost of rescuing dogs with behavioral issues that are considered unadoptable and at risk of being euthanized. We rehabilitate these dogs and find them good and stable homes.
